Economic Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Dental Practices in Germany: A Cross-Sectional Survey

Summary: This study evaluated the economic impact of the SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 pandemic on dental practices in Germany through an observational cross-sectional survey. The findings showed that approximately one-third of self-employed dentists experienced collapse or quarantine measures, while smaller practices were less affected. Average monthly costs sharply increased in all practice structures. The results of this study can help better manage future pandemics and provide information to policymakers.

The innovation characteristics of person-centred care as perceived by healthcare professionals: an interview study employing a deductive-inductive content analysis guided by the consolidated framework for implementation research

Stakeholders responsible for implementing PCC may benefit from considering these factors across a variety of healthcare contexts.
