University faculty perceptions about accommodations for students with learning disabilities

Summary: This study examines the willingness of university faculty members in a northern university in Israel to provide accommodations for students with learning disabilities (LD). The results show that the faculty members generally have positive attitudes and are willing to provide accommodations. However, there are differences in willingness to provide technological accommodations between Arabic- and Hebrew-speaking faculty members. The faculty members not only mention academic support, but also emphasize emotional support and empathy.

Transforming faculty conceptions of disability and inclusive education through a training programme

Disclosing accommodation needs: exploring experiences of higher education students with disabilities
