Declined incidence of patients treated for vision-threatening diabetic retinopathy in South Korea: a 12-year nationwide population-based study

Risk factors for undergoing surgery in patients with newly diagnosed open-angle glaucoma

Summary: Despite limited studies on the prevalence and risk factors of glaucoma surgery, this study analyzed a large database of Korean residents and found that older age, female sex, and intensity of intraocular pressure lowering treatments were associated with an increased likelihood of undergoing glaucoma surgery.
