Summary: This study evaluates the impact of Building-Integrated Photovoltaic in Double-Skin Facades (BIPV-DSF) on both indoor visual condition and energy consumption in an office module in the United Kingdom. Results indicate a significant decrease in daylight illuminance and an increase in building energy consumption when using BIPV-DSF compared to regular DSF. Therefore, BIPV-DSF is not viable for commercial installation under the UK's climate conditions.
