Optical and temperature-dependent magnetic properties of Mn-doped CoFe2O4 nanostructures

Usman Khan et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates the significant impact of manganese (Mn) doping on the magnetic and optical properties of cobalt ferrite. The hydrothermal approach was used to synthesize CoMnxFe2_xO4 nanostructures. The crystal structure analysis confirmed a typical cubic structure. The magnetic and optical properties of the nanostructures were characterized through various techniques.

A Combination of Calcination and the Spark Plasma Sintering Method in Multiferroic Ceramic Composite Technology: Effects of Process Temperature and Dwell Time

Dariusz Bochenek

Summary: This study reports a combined technological process that includes synthesis and sintering methods for multiferroic ceramic composites, aiming to find the optimal conditions. The results show that using the Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) method in the process favors proper densification and results in a fine-grained microstructure with good properties. The optimal set of parameters and properties is obtained at a temperature of 900 degrees C for 3 min.

Electrophysical properties of multiferroic PMN-PT-Ferrite composites sintered by spark plasma sintering

Dariusz Bochenek et al.

Summary: This study elaborates on the technology of multiferroic ceramic composites sintered by the spark plasma sintering method and presents their structural, microstructural, dielectric, ferroelectric and magnetic characteristics. The results show that the composite materials have high permittivity and small dielectric loss tangent, properly saturated ferroelectric polarization, and typical magnetic properties of ferroelectro-ferromagnetic composites. The spark plasma sintering method improves the sinterability of the material, maintains high performance parameters, and significantly reduces the processing temperature and time of the composites.

Enhancement of magnetoelectric effect in multiferroic composites of dysprosium and zinc doped BaTiO3-CoFe2O4

Gowher Hameed Rather et al.

Summary: By fabricating particulate multiferroic composites, the study shows that the magnetoelectric effect depends on factors such as the mass fraction of the magnetic phase and crystallite size in the composites. Dy3+ ions were identified as potential candidates to enhance dielectric constant, with the Mott theory establishing a hopping conduction mechanism.

Summary: This paper investigated the structural, optical, and magnetic properties of SrFe12O19 and CoTmTb hard/soft ferrite nanocomposites, revealing an enhancement in magnetic parameters with an increase in soft content and the highest energy product value reached in SFO/3(CoTmTb) NCs. Microwave properties were also measured in the frequency range 33-50 GHz, showing main electrodynamic characteristics like permittivity and permeability.
