Summary: This study aimed to identify the shared top priorities of patients and clinicians in primary cardiovascular care and to explore the differences in their perspectives. The study found that patients and clinicians shared priorities in listening and tailoring care, provision of personalized information, rapid response, professional training, and continuity of care. However, there were significant differences in perspectives regarding the importance of healthy lifestyle activities, timely access to the treating physician, and collaboration with specialist physicians.

Nurse-led telehealth intervention effectiveness on reducing hypertension: a systematic review

Summary: This systematic review examines the effectiveness of nursing-led telehealth interventions in reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The findings indicate that nurse-led interventions using telehealth devices, remote video consultation, calls, and email alerts can significantly decrease blood pressure, particularly systolic blood pressure, in intervention groups. These interventions also have positive effects on hypertension awareness, self-efficacy, self-control, cholesterol levels, fruit and vegetable consumption, physical activity, and medication adherence.

Measuring health literacy: A systematic review and bibliometric analysis of instruments from 1993 to 2021

Summary: This study reviewed the development of health literacy instruments and summarized the characteristics and psychometric properties of existing measurement instruments. The results showed that there is a wide range of instruments available, with most of them demonstrating good psychometric properties. However, some instruments lack sufficient reporting of psychometric properties. It is recommended that an authorized institution provide clear guidelines for measuring health literacy.

Evaluating the content of a patient-reported outcome measure for people with multimorbidity: a Delphi consensus

Summary: With a modified Delphi technique, consensus was reached on the content of a novel patient-reported outcome measure adapted for individuals with multimorbidity, including 50 relevant, improvable, and self-ratable items categorized under 16 constructs. The consensus attainment process excluded three constructs and their items related to awareness, weight control, and social integration. More interventions tailored to multimorbidity warrant a valid measure of effectiveness.
