It also discusses the uncertain classification of some poorly characterized species and the reclassification of certain species previously associated with the genera in this catalogue. The paper provides an illustrated key to the 73 genera included in the catalogue and revised generic diagnoses.

Through DNA barcoding and morphological analysis, it is closely related to D. perkinsi and D. piperi. Additional information is provided for the identification of Dinogamasus species in Lundqvist's key.
