Sequential fusion estimation for Markov jump systems with heavy-tailed noises

Hui Li et al.

Summary: This paper studies the sequential fusion estimation problem for Markov jump multi-sensor systems with heavy-tailed noises. By modeling the noises as Student's t distributions, a sequential fusion estimation algorithm is designed using the interacting multiple model method and Bayes' rule. To improve the robustness against measurement outliers caused by measurement heavy-tailed noise, an F-distribution detection strategy is designed to detect and reject the measurement outliers. Simulation results demonstrate that the designed sequential fusion estimation algorithm can effectively fuse the measurements from multiple sensors, and the accuracy of the designed algorithm is superior to the existing interacting multiple model Student's t batch fusion algorithm and single model adaptive Student's t batch fusion algorithm when there exist model switching and disturbances with heavy-tailed property.

New Criteria of Event-triggered Exponential State Estimation for Delayed semi-Markovian Memristor-based Neural Networks

Xiaoman Liu et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the issue of exponential state estimation for Memristor-based Neural Networks (MNNs) with semi-Markov Jump Parameters (semi-MJPs) and Time-varying Delay (TD). It introduces an alternative method to obtain tighter bounds for Exponential-type Integral Quadratic Terms (EIQTs) by establishing a novel Exponential-type Free-matrix Integral Inequality (EFMII). A Sampled-data-based Event-triggered Control Mechanism (SECM) is proposed to save network resources, and a proper Lyapunov-Krasovskii Functional (LKF) is structured to leverage the information of decay exponent, semi-MJPs, and TD. Less conservative criteria for exponential stability are found and state estimators are designed using the EFMII and SECM. Numerical simulation examples are provided to validate the proposed theoretical results.

Non-fragile dynamic output-feedback control for l1-gain performance of positive FM-II model with PDT switching: An event-triggered mechanism

Jinling Wang et al.

Summary: In this article, the design problem of event-triggered non-fragile dynamic output-feedback controller for the uncertain FM-II model with PDT switching constraint is addressed. A novel E-T scheme is introduced to reduce measurement transmission ratio and the occupancy of communication channels. Sufficient conditions for positive closed-loop system, robust exponential stability, and l1-gain performance are obtained by choosing a suitable co-positive type Lyapunov function and utilizing the PDT method. The controller design issues are simultaneously discussed, and the parameterized matrices are explicitly designed through solving linear programming inequalities. A simulation example is provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the theoretical results.

New results on exponential input-to-state stability analysis of memristor based complex-valued inertial neural networks with proportional and distributed delays

M. Iswarya et al.

Summary: This study presents the Exponential input-to-state stability (EISS) criteria for memristor based delayed complex-valued neural networks (DMCNN) with an inertial term and time-varying delays. Two types of time-varying delays, proportional and distributed delays, are considered. The research constructs the delayed memristor neural networks (MNN) based on second order complex-valued space. Sufficient conditions for EISS are proposed using non-smooth analysis, set-valued maps, Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, Kirchhoff's matrix tree theorem, Cauchy-Schwarz inequality, and other inequality techniques.

Static Output Feedback Quantized Control for Fuzzy Markovian Switching Singularly Perturbed Systems With Deception Attacks

Jun Cheng et al.

Summary: This article focuses on the static output feedback control problem of fuzzy Markovian switching singularly perturbed systems (FMSSPSs) with deception attacks and asynchronous quantized measurement output. An asynchronous control scheme is proposed using hidden Markov models, and the nonlinear characteristics are modeled by the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model. The stability analysis and control design of the system are achieved through a mode-dependent Lyapunov functional.

Non-fragile control design for stochastic Markov jump system with multiple delays and cyber attacks

H. Divya et al.

Summary: This study examines the stabilization problem for a class of stochastic Markovian jump systems with multiple delays and cyber attacks using a non-fragile control law. The non-fragile controller is designed to handle gain fluctuations in control components. Adequate criteria are formulated to assure the stochastic stability of the systems under cyber attacks.

Uniform Stability of Complex-Valued Neural Networks of Fractional Order With Linear Impulses and Fixed Time Delays

Hui Li et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the complex-valued neural network based on CV parameters and variables, focusing on the fractional-order CVNN with linear impulses and fixed time delays. Criteria for uniform stability and existence and uniqueness of equilibrium solutions were derived using the sign function, Banach fixed point theorem, and two classes of activation functions. Three experimental simulations were presented to illustrate the correctness and effectiveness of the obtained results.

Summary: This article investigates the nonfragile $\mathcal {H}_{\infty }$ synchronization issue for a class of discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy Markov jump systems. With a novel processing method and controller design scheme, the transition probabilities of the Markov chain are considered to be piecewise time-varying.
