Nanozyme Sensor Array Based on Porphyrin-Modified CoMoO4 to Detect and Distinguish Biologically Important Thiols

Pingping Hao et al.

Summary: A colorimetric sensor array based on nanozymes (CoMoO(4) and PorCoMoO(4)) with peroxidase-like activity was constructed to establish a rapid, accurate, and simple method for monitoring and analyzing biological physiological state by determining five kinds of biothiols. The addition of porphyrin greatly enhanced the peroxidase-like activity of CoMoO4 due to the synergistic interaction between porphyrin and CoMoO4. The experimental data confirmed the generation of a superoxide radical (& BULL;O-2(-)) during the catalytic reaction through the use of a radical scavenger and fluorescence probe. Different biothiols can be identified and distinguished using linear discriminant analysis with the aid of a chromogenic substrate (TMB).

Endowing Porphyrinic Metal-Organic Frameworks with High Stability by a Linker Desymmetrization Strategy

Wentao Han et al.

Summary: A highly stable porphyrinic MOF, USTC-9, was synthesized through a linker desymmetrization strategy. It shows the same topological structure as PCN-600 but possesses improved stability due to its wrinkled and interlocked linker arrangements. USTC-9(Fe) exhibits excellent performance for catalytic CO2 cycloaddition at moderate temperature and atmospheric pressure.

MOF-On-MOF Dual Enzyme-Mimic Nanozyme with Enhanced Cascade Catalysis for Colorimetric/Chemiluminescent Dual-Mode Aptasensing

Huining Chai et al.

Summary: A novel metal-organic framework (MOF)-on-MOF dual enzyme-mimic nanozyme was designed for enhanced cascade signal amplification in colorimetric and chemiluminescent dual-mode aptasensing. The MOF-on-MOF hybrid, called MOF-818@PMOF(Fe), consists of MOF-818 with catechol oxidase-like activity and iron porphyrin MOF [PMOF(Fe)] with peroxidase-like activity. The nanozyme system showed improved catalysis efficiency and generated enhanced colorimetric and CL signals.
