Summary: This paper reports the structural dynamic behaviors of a skyscraper under operational conditions using a wireless distributed synchronized data acquisition system. The system is developed to conveniently acquire the structural responses from the skyscraper with the GNSS time information. The synchronization accuracy of the system is validated by comparing the modal parameters estimated by wired central data acquisition and the wireless system. The dynamic properties of the skyscraper are presented through operational modal analysis. Additionally, a continuous dynamic monitoring system is developed to capture the long-term structural responses at different spatial positions, and the structural dynamic behaviors of the skyscraper under normal wind, typhoon, and earthquake conditions are reported.
