This article introduces a method that uses a Python script to automatically extract bibliometric data from scientific databases, aiming to address the challenge of searching and downloading bibliographic information in a large volume of publications.
Bibliometric analysis is a quantitative approach used to study how knowledge in different research fields evolves based on the analysis of related publications. It is increasingly popular in understanding various aspects of scientific and practical areas. However, the growing volume of publications presents a significant challenge for scholars who have traditionally relied on manual methods to explore within scientific databases. This article introduces a Python script to automatically extract bibliometric data from scientific databases. This script substitutes the manual processes of searching and downloading bibliographic information, and it provides data in a suitable format for utilization within bibliometric analysis software.
