Visible light active Fe-Pr co-doped TiO2 for water pollutants degradation

Summary: Fe-Pr co-doped TiO2 photocatalysts exhibit higher photocatalytic efficiency in the degradation of Acid Orange 7 azo dye and phenol, attributed to the co-doping of TiO2 with Pr and Fe ions leading to a reduction of the band gap value and enhanced generation of oxygen vacancies. The optimized Fe-Pr co-doped TiO2 shows the best performance in terms of treatment time under LED visible light irradiation.
