Towards Future BIM Technology Innovations: A Bibliometric Analysis of the Literature

Ali Khudhair et al.

Summary: The evolution of the construction industry relies on the continuous implementation of new technologies. Building Information Modelling (BIM) has transformed collaboration and data sharing processes in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. However, the full potential of BIM can only be realized through the holistic utilization of cutting-edge technologies, rather than using them in isolation. This paper emphasizes the importance of integrating and managing information effectively to enhance the smart BIM environment.
