Spin-triplet superconductivity in Weyl nodal-line semimetals

Tian Shang et al.

Summary: This study reveals that 111 materials break time-reversal symmetry during superconducting transition, leading to a topological phase transition. They serve as an ideal test-bed for investigating the rich interplay between Weyl nodal-line fermions and unconventional superconductivity.

Chiral anomaly induced nonlinear Hall effect in semimetals with multiple Weyl points

Snehasish Nandy et al.

Summary: The study investigates the characteristics of chiral anomaly induced nonlinear Hall effect in multi-Weyl semimetals, revealing that unlike linear Hall effect, the magnitude of CNHE decreases with the increase of the topological charge n. The different behaviors of CNHE in different planes for single and triple Weyl semimetals can be experimentally validated.

Current-induced second harmonic generation in inversion-symmetric Dirac and Weyl semimetals

Kazuaki Takasan et al.

Summary: Second harmonic generation (SHG) is a fundamental nonlinear optical phenomenon that has been widely studied for both experimental probes of materials and applications in optical devices. This study focuses on the theoretical analysis of SHG in inversion-symmetric Dirac and Weyl semimetals under the influence of a DC current, showing strong SHG effects upon the application of finite current. Experimental estimations suggest that Dirac and Weyl semimetals exhibit significantly higher induced susceptibility values compared to typical nonlinear optical materials.

Implications of second harmonic generation for hidden order in Sr2CuO2Cl2

A. de la Torre et al.

Summary: SCOC is a model undoped cuprate with I4/mmm crystallographic symmetry, but recent research has shown the existence of another magnetic point group 4/mm'm' in the antiferromagnetic phase. This challenges the previous understanding of the material's symmetry and opens up new possibilities for ground states consistent with the data.

Anisotropic nonlinear optical response of nodal-loop materials

Tommy Tai et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the semiclassical optical response of two nodal loops in linked, unlinked, and touching configurations. A geometric picture is provided to unify the aspects of nodal topology and geometry, shedding light on the effects of nodal topology and geometry on material properties.
