Eun A. Kim et al.

Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has threatened the stability and adequacy of the global healthcare system. One potential solution to address the shortage of frontline healthcare workers is to engage medical and nursing students. This study investigated the effect of COVID-19-related knowledge, attitudes, and preventive behaviors on medical and nursing students' willingness to care for COVID-19 patients. The findings suggest that a high level of knowledge, an optimistic attitude, and engagement in preventive behaviors increase students' willingness to care for COVID-19 patients.
