FADS based aerodynamic parameters estimation for mars entry considering fault detection and tolerance

Summary: The study proposes a hybrid method to achieve aerodynamic parameter estimation of the Mars entry vehicle and FADS fault detection and tolerance simultaneously. The estimation procedure combines coarse estimation algorithm with precise estimation algorithm, along with the fusion of chi-square detection, hybrid estimation, and random sample consensus algorithms to realize FADS fault-tolerant estimation. The comparison simulations demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed technique.

Summary: This paper addresses the problem of fault detection in the aerospace field, which is limited by uncertainty and randomness, by combining IVNSs, BRB, and D-S methods to propose a powerful fault detection algorithm. A series of innovations have been proposed to improve the method, including a new score function based on p-norm for IVNSs and a new approach of calculating the similarity between IVNSs, both of which are proven by authoritative prerequisites.
