Ray-Space Epipolar Geometry for Light Field Cameras

Summary: Light field represents rays in space and the epipolar geometry between two light fields captures ray-ray correspondences and relative configuration of two views. Little work has been done in deriving a formal epipolar geometry model specific to light field cameras. This paper fills this gap by developing a novel ray-space epipolar geometry model and proposing algorithms for fundamental matrix estimation and calibration.

PlenoptiCam v1.0: A Light-Field Imaging Framework
