Efficacy and acceptability of pharmacological, psychosocial, and brain stimulation interventions in children and adolescents with mental disorders: an umbrella review

Summary: This study reviewed evidence on the safety and tolerability of 80 medications in children/adolescents with mental disorders, highlighting the importance of combining such data with evidence on efficacy and acceptability. Psychosocial interventions and brain stimulation techniques were also identified as treatment options for this population. The results provide evidence-based information for clinical decision making in treating mental disorders in children/adolescents.
