Molecular Diagnostic of Ochratoxin A With Specific Aptamers in Corn and Groundnut via Fabrication of a Microfluidic Device

Deepshikha Shahdeo et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel method using an aptamer coupled with gold nanoparticles was developed for the rapid and reliable detection of Ochratoxin A (OTA) in food. Compared with traditional HPLC detection methods, this approach does not require complex extraction pre-treatment steps, leading to improved detection efficiency and accuracy.

Electrochemiluminescence Immunosensor Based on Nanobody and Au/CaCO3 Synthesized Using Waste Eggshells for Ultrasensitive Detection of Ochratoxin A

Linzhi Li et al.

Summary: A novel ultrasensitive electrochemiluminescence (ECL) immunoassay based on Au/CaCO3 nanocomposites synthesized using waste eggshells was developed for detecting ochratoxin A (OTA) in coffee. The sensor showed high sensitivity, selectivity, low detection limit, excellent performance, and stability, with promising practical applicability in analyzing OTA in food samples. This work demonstrates the potential of utilizing natural waste as a source for fabricating nanomaterials in sensor technology for detecting toxic substances in foods.
