pystablemotifs: Python library for attractor identification and control in Boolean networks

Jordan C. Rozum et al.

Summary: pystablemotifs is a Python 3 library that analyzes Boolean networks. It offers a non-heuristic and exhaustive attractor identification algorithm, as well as six attractor control algorithms. These algorithms provide various control strategies for the system. Additionally, pystablemotifs includes other useful tools.

Evaluating a therapeutic window for precision medicine by integrating genomic profiles and p53 network dynamics

Minsoo Choi et al.

Summary: This study introduces a network dynamics-based approach for evaluating the therapeutic window of drugs from cancer signaling networks and genomic profiles, allowing for effective screening of drug targets and stratifying patients based on desired/undesired drug responses. The study provides a viable and quantitative framework to connect genotype information to drug response phenotypes based on network dynamics determining the therapeutic window.

A logical network-based drug-screening platform for Alzheimer's disease representing pathological features of human brain organoids

Jong-Chan Park et al.

Summary: This study reports an efficient drug screening platform integrating mathematical modeling and the pathological features of AD with human iPSC-derived cerebral organoids. By using 1300 organoids from 11 participants, they built a high-content screening system and tested FDA-approved drugs that can permeate the blood-brain barrier. The study provides a strategy for precision medicine through the convergence of mathematical modeling and a miniature pathological brain model using iCOs.
