We have developed a novel Monte Carlo parton branching algorithm based on the Gribov-Levin-Ryskin (GLR) equation and presented the formulations for both forward and backward evolution of the GLR equation. The results from the Monte Carlo implementation of the GLR equation agree with its numerical solutions. Our work thus provides a foundation for developing an event generator that incorporates the saturation effect.
