Properties and application of MoS2 nanopowder: Characterization, Congo red dye adsorption, and optimization

Summary: The properties of natural crystalline molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanopowder were characterized using multiple techniques, and its adsorption performance towards the dye CR was investigated. Results showed that MoS2 nanopowder exhibited excellent decolorization ability, with a high maximum adsorption capacity and good fitting to the adsorption kinetics model.
