Investigation of the bottom analog of the Zcs(3985) state

Xuejie Liu et al.

Summary: Motivated by recent discoveries, this study investigates the S-wave hidden bottom tetraquark with strangeness using two quark models. The results show no bound state in both models, but several resonance states are predicted. These predicted states are accessible for further experiments in LHCb, with different energy ranges and quantum numbers.

Nature of X(6900) and its production mechanism at LHCb

Chang Gong et al.

Summary: We find that Pomeron exchanges play a crucial role in vector charmonium scatterings and can provide an explanation for the unique structures observed by the LHCb Collaboration. The presence of a narrow structure X(6900), formed by the exchange of Pomerons and coupled-channel effects, is predicted near the di-J/psi threshold. Furthermore, we predict that X(6900) will result in significant threshold enhancement in the J/psi-psi(2S) energy spectrum, which can be detected at LHCb.

Improved understanding of the peaking phenomenon existing in the new di-J/ψ invariant mass spectrum from the CMS Collaboration

Jun-Zhang Wang et al.

Summary: In this work, the CMS measurement's new features are shown to reflect a dynamical mechanism that explains the novel peaking phenomenon in the J/psi-pair mass spectrum. This mechanism involves special reactions where different charmonium pairs directly produced by pp collision may transition into the final state of J/psi J/psi.

Fully heavy pentaquarks in quark models

Ye Yan et al.

Summary: The fully heavy pentaquarks cccc (c) over bar and bbbb (b) over bar are investigated in a systematic manner using the chiral quark model and quark delocalization color screening model. The results from both models are consistent, and the effect of channel coupling is crucial for the formation of a bound state in the fully heavy pentaquark system. Three possible fully heavy pentaquarks are obtained with their respective J(P) and mass ranges, which should be searched for in future experiments.

LHCb measurements of the exotic tetraquark candidate χc1(3872) in high-multiplicity pp and pPb collisions

J. Matthew Durham

Summary: In the past decade, research in hadron spectroscopy has revealed many states that do not exhibit the expected properties of particles composed of two or three valence quarks. One of the most intriguing examples is the chi(c1)(3872), for which various models have been proposed to explain its characteristics. Experimental studies of the chi(c1)(3872) have primarily focused on its production through B meson decays, but heavy ion collisions and high multiplicity pp collisions offer new insights into its properties. The LHCb experiment, with its precision vertexing, tracking, and particle ID capabilities, is well-suited for studying both prompt and non-prompt exotic hadrons, such as the chi(c1)(3872).

Coupled-Channel Interpretation of the LHCb Double-J/ψ Spectrum and Hints of a New State Near the J/ψJ/ψ Threshold

Xiang-Kun Dong et al.

Summary: The LHCb Collaboration recently reported pronounced structures in the invariant mass spectrum of J/psi pairs produced in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. They argue that the data can be well described within two variants of a coupled-channel approach, both of which hint at the existence of a near-threshold state in the J/psi J/psi system referred to as X(6200). Experimental tests are suggested to confirm the existence of this state and additional channels need to be studied to allow for distinctive tests between the proposed mechanisms.

Gluonic tetracharm configuration of X(6900)

Bing-Dong Wan et al.

Summary: A new hadronic structure around 6.9GeV containing at least four charm quarks was observed in an LHCb experiment, indicating the existence of tetracharm exotic states. A nature hybrid interpretation for this structure was proposed, suggesting it could be a gluonic tetracharm state. Other structures, such as a tetracharm state around 7.2GeV, were also predicted, awaiting future experiments.

Triply-heavy tetraquarks in an extended relativized quark model

Qi-Fang Lu et al.

Summary: In this study, an extended relativized quark model was used to investigate triply-heavy tetraquarks, which were found to be unstable and easily decay into heavy quarkonium plus heavy-light mesons. The mass spectra showed similar patterns, maintaining light flavor SU(3) symmetry and heavy quark symmetry well. These findings suggest that triply-heavy tetraquarks are potential candidates for future experimental investigations.

Pair structure of heavy tetraquark systems

Summary: In this study, the pair description of heavy tetraquark systems was examined within a nonrelativistic potential model. By treating heavy quark pairs as colored clusters, the four-quark Schrodinger equation was simplified to a two-pair equation. The detailed pair potential between the heavy quark pairs was extracted by considering all Casimir scaling potentials and using the lattice QCD simulated mixing angle between the two color-singlet states.
