Selectivity of metsulfuron applied to soybean before sowing in different intervals and soils

Summary: This study evaluated the selectivity of the herbicide metsulfuron on soybean development in soils with different characteristics when applied at different times. The results showed that metsulfuron application influenced soybean growth depending on soil type, application time, and plant variety. Application of metsulfuron 30 days before sowing had a significant impact on soybean leaf area and dry matter, while gradual phytotoxicity was observed between 14 and 28 days after emergence.

Summary: This study evaluated the effects of different post-emergence herbicides on total protein and amino acid contents in wheat cultivars, finding that herbicides generally led to a decrease in amino acids and protein levels. However, certain herbicides showed an increase in specific amino acids. Foliar herbicide application significantly improved physiological, biochemical parameters, and yield in the Shandweel cultivar compared to other varieties.
