Investigation of octupole deformed fragments decaying from even-even isotopes of 222-230Th

Shivani Jain et al.

Summary: This study analyzes the possibility of octupole deformed fission fragments in the decay of thorium isotopes. Using the dynamical cluster-decay model, it is found that octupole deformed fission fragments are predominantly emitted in the heavier thorium isotopes. This result is consistent with the experimentally obtained mass and charge distributions.

Decay aspects of the compound nuclei formed via CF and ICF path in 12C+52Cr reaction

Gayatri Sarkar et al.

Summary: Theoretical examination of the reaction dynamics of C-12+Cr-52 reaction induced via a cluster-structured projectile using the dynamical cluster decay model was conducted. The study focused on the systematic analysis of the incomplete fusion and complete fusion channels, as well as the role of center-of-mass energy and angular momentum in the decay process. The research also included comparative analysis of different proximity potentials for incomplete fusion and compared the results with experimental data.
