Peroxymonosulfate-activated molecularly imprinted bimetallic MOFs for targeted removal of PAHs and recovery of biosurfactants from soil washing effluents

Summary: In this study, a new material Al/Co-MOFs@MIP was synthesized for the selective degradation of phenanthrene in washing effluents, in order to recover biosurfactants. The Al/Co-MOFs@MIP exhibited higher stability and selective recognition ability, significantly enhancing the adsorption of phenanthrene and improving degradation efficiency. The study demonstrated that the Al/Co-MOFs@MIP/PMS system achieved selective phenanthrene degradation due to the synergistic effects of selective adsorption and catalysis.

A smartphone-integrated method for visual detection of tetracycline
