We propose a phenomenological extended vector meson dominance model that well describes the experimental data on the E and F-electromagnetic form factors in the timelike region. We also reproduce the ratios of the total cross sections of reactions e+e- -> E+E over bar -, E0E over bar 0, and E-E over bar +, achieving agreement with the experimental data. Furthermore, we analytically continue the expression of the form factors to the spacelike region and estimate the charge radii of the E and F-hyperons, obtaining agreement with experimental data for the charge radius of E-.
We propose a phenomenological extended vector meson dominance model for the baryon electromag-netic structure, and it is found that the current experimental data on the E and F-electromagnetic form factors in the timelike region can be well described. Meanwhile, we can also reproduce the ratios of the total cross sections of reactions e+e- -> E+E over bar -, E0E over bar 0, and E-E over bar +, which are 9.7 +/- 1.3:3.3 +/- 0.7:1 at center-of -mass energies from 2.3864 GeV to 3.02 GeV. We also analytically continue the expression of the form factors to spacelike region and estimate the charge radii of the E and F-hyperons. The obtained result of the charge radius for the E- is in agreement with the experimental data.
