Vector spatiotemporal solitons in cold atomic gases with linear and nonlinear PT symmetric potentials

Summary: This study proposes a scheme to generate three-dimensional vector spatiotemporal solitons in a cold atomic system, showing that these solitons have extremely low generation power and very slow propagation velocity, and can stably propagate in the system. Nonlinear periodic waves and their stabilities for a Bose-Einstein condensate in a nonlinear lattice

Summary: In this study, a special class of nonlinear periodic waves and their stabilities in a pure cosine nonlinear lattice were investigated for a Bose-Einstein condensate. Two different types of exact periodic waves, one-period and double-period solutions, were obtained within a specific range of lattice parameters. The stability phase diagrams for these exact solutions were numerically identified, revealing that the double-period solutions are more stable than the one-period solutions as the modulation amplitude of the nonlinear lattice is increased.
