Rootstock-conferred traits affect the water use efficiency of fruit production in Shiraz

Summary: The type of rootstock can affect the growth and yield of the scion by conferring specific traits. This study found that rootstock conferred vigor and crop water use index were related, and using rootstocks with low vigor can improve the water use efficiency of fruit production.
