Refined nuclear magnetic dipole moment of rhenium: 185Re and 187Re

L. V. Skripnikov et al.

Summary: The refined values of the magnetic dipole moments of Re-185 and Re-187 nuclei have been obtained using relativistic coupled cluster and density-functional theory calculations. These values differ from the tabulated values and resolve the disagreement between theoretical predictions and experimental measurements of the hyperfine structure of H-like rhenium ions. The study also extracts the value of a parameter related to nuclear magnetization distribution in rhenium compounds.

CeNTREX: a new search for time-reversal symmetry violation in the 205Tl nucleus

O. Grasdijk et al.

Summary: The CeNTREX experiment aims to increase sensitivity to hadronic time reversal (T) violating interactions using advanced techniques. The experimental signature involves shifts in nuclear magnetic resonance frequencies of Tl-205. The experiment utilizes cryogenic molecular beam sources and optical state preparation to achieve higher sensitivity and better control of systematic errors.
