Thermal fluctuations, quasi-normal modes and phase transitions of regular black hole

M. Sharif et al.

Summary: This paper studies thermal fluctuations, quasi-normal modes and phase transitions of two black holes, and explores their effects on various thermodynamic quantities. It is found that large black holes are stable under thermal fluctuations. The study also establishes a relation between Davies point and quasi-normal modes, and investigates the influence of magnetic charge, correction parameter and dark matter parameter on Hawking temperature and heat capacity.

Effects of non-linear electrodynamics on thermodynamics of charged black hole

M. Sharif et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the thermodynamics, quasi-normal modes, thermal fluctuations, and phase transitions of the Reissner-Nordstrom black hole with non-linear electrodynamics effects. It explores the relation between Davies's point and quasi-normal modes with non-linear electrodynamics and observes the impact of logarithmic corrections on thermodynamic quantities. The study also analyzes the phase transitions of Hawking temperature and heat capacity for different values of charge, horizon radius, and coupling parameter.

AdS black holes with perfect fluid dark matter and weak cosmic censorship conjecture

Liu Li et al.

Summary: This study investigates the thermodynamic laws and weak cosmic censorship conjecture for Reissner-Nordstom-anti-de Sitter black holes with perfect fluid dark matter by considering the absorption of a charged particle. The results show that the laws of thermodynamics remain valid in AdS spacetime with dark matter, and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture holds under certain conditions, allowing for the evolution of black holes in a dark matter background.

Logarithmic Corrected Phase Transitions and Shadows Phenomenon of Well-Known Classes of Regular Black Holes

Abdul Jawad et al.

Summary: The consequences of quantum fluctuations play a key role in high-energy physics. This study investigates the effects of thermal fluctuations on a generalized class of regular black holes. By considering logarithmic corrected entropy and evaluating various thermodynamic quantities, the influence of Barrow-Tsallis entropy on the thermodynamics of regular black holes is revealed. It is found that thermal fluctuations significantly affect the pressure and free energy of small black holes, while their influence on specific heat can be neglected. Moreover, these corrections are important for the stability of black holes, and the new class of black holes is shown to be more stable than other classes. The phenomenon of phase transitions is also studied through the black hole shadow.

An analysis of systematic effects in finite size scaling studies using the gradient flow

Alessandro Nada et al.

Summary: The proposal introduces a new strategy for determining the step scaling function sigma (u) in finite size scaling studies using the gradient flow, showing better control over continuum extrapolations in pure gauge theory. Additionally, it reexamines the running coupling at high energies and the determination of the Lambda-parameter, focusing on perturbative truncation uncertainties.

Effect of thermal fluctuation on the thermodynamics of GMGHS black hole

Xiaokang Chen et al.

Summary: In this paper, the authors discuss the effect of higher order corrections of entropy on the thermodynamic fluctuation of the GMGHS black hole. It is found that the correction is important for small black hole cases, but can be neglected for large black hole cases. The black hole system behaves as an ideal gas state without thermal fluctuation, but exhibits Van der Waals type behavior with thermal fluctuation. Additionally, the stability of the black hole is discussed, with thermal fluctuation leading to a stable to unstable phase transition at smaller horizon radii.

Prospects of measuring Rb in hadronic Z decays at the CEPC

B. Li et al.

Summary: With an integrated luminosity of 45 ab-1 at s=91.2 GeV, more than 1012 Z bosons will be produced at the CEPC, allowing for precise study of Z boson physics. The study in this paper focuses on measuring the relative partial width Rb of Z boson into b quarks using the double-tagging method, demonstrating good performance and successful verification through a closure test. Systematic errors related to b-tagging efficiencies and hemisphere correlation are investigated and studied preliminarily.

Summary: The study examines the impact of thermal fluctuations on the thermodynamics of a charged black hole, finding that the fluctuations increase instability and may result in a second-order phase transition. Large black holes exhibit Van der Waals behavior, while small black holes with significant thermal fluctuations do not.

Imprints of dark matter on black hole shadows using spherical accretions

K. Saurabh et al.

Summary: Researchers studied the identification of dark matter in the galactic center by analyzing the physical properties of electromagnetic radiation emitted from an optically-thin disk region surrounding a static and spherically symmetric black hole. Dark matter can either increase or decrease the intensity of electromagnetic flux radiation depending on the model, with a high energy density of dark matter near the black hole needed for a significant effect. The distribution of surrounding dark matter plays a key role in the shadow radius and intensity of electromagnetic flux radiation.
