Rehabilitation of shortened dental arches: A fifteen-year randomised trial

Summary: This study analyzed the long-term success of treatments in shortened dental arch (SDA), finding that half of the patients could maintain the prosthetic status according to the treatment plan for over 10 years. However, the risk of losing the prosthetic status increased for moderate or worse failures. Overall, the influence of treatments on success rates appeared to be low.
