Nuclear Data Sheets for A=201

Summary: This article presents the evaluated nuclear structure and decay data for all nuclei with mass number A=201 (201Os, 201Ir, 201Pt, 201Au, 201Hg, 201Tl, 201Pb, 201Bi, 201Po, 201At, 201Rn, 201Fr, 201Ra). The available experimental data were compiled and evaluated to determine the best values for various nuclear properties. Inconsistencies and discrepancies in the literature were discussed and computer codes developed by NSDD network members were utilized during the evaluation process.

Summary: To meet the demands of complex experiments in physics, an intelligent controller with a sequencer and a built-in busy logic has been developed. It uses a field programmable gate array to provide high-resolution data acquisition with zero dead time. The controller can achieve a throughput of 32 MB/s with an event size of 288 signals at an event rate of 30 kiloevents per second.

Level structure in the transitional nucleus 215Fr

Summary: The level scheme of Fr-215 is extended with the addition of 52 new gamma-ray transitions, and the previously established isomers and their half-lives are revisited. A good agreement is observed between the experimental results and the shell-model calculations. The weak coupling of the odd proton to the even-even core and the establishment of a new positive-parity sequence are also observed.
