Subcutaneous panniculitis-like T cell lymphoma presented as erythema nodosum: A case report

Donghong Sun et al.

Summary: SPTCL is an extremely rare subtype of primary cutaneous T cell lymphomas, presenting with subcutaneous nodules and often leading to misdiagnosis. Epigallocatechin-3-gallate Can Prevent Type 2 Human Papillomavirus E7 from Suppressing Interferon-Stimulated Genes

Ji Young Song et al.

Summary: The study found that HPV-2 infection significantly reduces the expression of all ISGs in cutaneous warts, and E7 transfection further downregulates the expression of these genes, but EGCG pretreatment can reverse this trend, showing potential for cutaneous wart prevention.

The effect of recombinant human interferon α1b treatment of infants hospitalized with lower respiratory tract infection on subsequent wheezing

Lihua Yang et al.

Summary: The study found that early use of recombinant human interferon alpha 1b and breastfeeding in infants hospitalized with lower respiratory tract infections can prevent subsequent wheezing. Childhood history of allergy, no use of rhIFN alpha 1b, and living in crowded housing may be risk factors for wheezing. Breastfeeding and hospitalization at age <= 1 year old were identified as protective factors.

Plasma interferon-alpha is associated with double-positivity for autoantibodies but is not a predictor of remission in early rheumatoid arthritis-a spin-off study of the NORD-STAR randomized clinical trial

Marit Stockfelt et al.

Summary: A subgroup of early RA patients have IFN alpha protein positivity, which is associated with double-positivity for autoantibodies. Levels of IFN alpha protein decrease after 24 weeks of treatment, regardless of the specific treatment used. IFN alpha protein positivity does not predict disease activity or remission in early RA patients, suggesting a distinct pathway from TNF, IL-6, and T-cell activation.
