High-temperature photoluminescence OF CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals in the fluorophosphate glasses

E. V. Kolobkova et al.

Summary: The temperature dependence of photoluminescence of CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals in fluorophosphate glass with sizes of 6.0-9.0 nm was investigated for the first time. It was observed that the photoluminescence intensity and band gap shift coefficient showed a change at 350 K, which corresponds to an isostructural phase transition. Above this temperature, the photoluminescence intensity decreased significantly. The temperature energy gap coefficients of the CsPbBr3 nanocrystals were found to depend on their size and temperature range.

In Situ Synthesis of UltraStable TiO2 Coating Rb+-Doped Red Emitting CsPbBrI2 Perovskite Quantum Dots

Yongqiang Ji et al.

Summary: In this study, it was found that the luminescent properties of CsPbBrI2 PQDs can be significantly improved through doping of univalent RV ions, especially when the molar ratio of Rb+/Cs+ is 0.1/0.9. Furthermore, the addition of a TiO2 nanoshell can greatly enhance the stability of these PQDs, allowing them to maintain their excellent red emitting characteristics even when immersed in water or exposed to illumination.

Fast Polaron Formation and Low Carrier Mobility in Defect-Free Polyhedral CsPbBr3 Perovskite Nanocrystals

Kaliyamoorthy Justice Babu et al.

Summary: In this study, we synthesized polyhedral dodecahedron cesium lead bromide (dodecahedron-CsPbBr3) perovskite, which has new polar facets exposed on the surface, longer carrier lifetime, and high photoluminescence quantum yield. The research findings suggest that dodecahedron-CsPbBr3 has potential for advanced next-generation efficient optoelectronic devices, as it exhibits improved carrier cooling and biexciton yield compared to conventional CsPbBr3 nanocubes.

Facile Uniaxial Electrospinning Strategy To Embed CsPbBr3 Nanocrystals with Enhanced Water/Thermal Stabilities for Reversible Fluorescence Switches

Yongchao Fan et al.

Summary: This study presents a facile and effective strategy for in situ encapsulation of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals into polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofibers via uniaxial electrospinning. The CsPbBr3 nanofibers obtained exhibit intense fluorescence and high stability when exposed to water, due to the peripheral protecting matrix of PAN. The quantum yield of CsPbBr3@PAN nanofibers maintained 87.5% of the original value after 100 days of water immersion.

Inhomogeneous Trap-State-Mediated Ultrafast Photocarrier Dynamics in CsPbBr3 Microplates

Yizhi Zhu et al.

Summary: In this study, the trap-state-mediated photocarrier dynamics in defect-rich CsPbBr3 microplates were investigated using ultrafast laser spectroscopy. The research revealed that trap densities in surface and bulk regions are heterogeneous and increase significantly as the thickness decreases. Competitive dynamics of ultrafast photocarrier energy relaxations between surface and bulk regions were studied, showing a polaron-assisted ultrafast energy transfer process across the surface-bulk interface.

Suppression of temperature quenching in perovskite nanocrystals for efficient and thermally stable light-emitting diodes

Mingming Liu et al.

Summary: Fluoride-treated CsPbBr3 nanocrystals exhibit near unity emission efficiency at temperatures up to 373 K, with constant decay kinetics. The treatment leads to surfaces rich in fluorine with wider energy gaps than the core, suppressing carrier trapping and improving thermal stability. Devices incorporating these nanocrystals show low turn-on voltage and high external quantum efficiency, with nearly 80% efficiency maintained at high temperatures, offering a promising pathway for high-performance light-emitting diodes based on perovskite nanostructures.

Wanyin Ge et al.

Summary: Researchers prepared large-yield stable CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 core-shell nanocrystals by adjusting the initial ratio of Cs/Pb using one-pot route. The growth process of CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 nanocrystals was analyzed, and their stability was evaluated under atmospheric conditions, showing excellent stability compared to pure phase CsPbBr3 nanocrystals. A writable fluorescent ink developed by mixing CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 nanocrystals with thermoplastic polyurethane exhibited excellent heat-resistance stability under multiple heating-cooling cycles, providing alternative options for the commercial development of perovskite materials.
