ana_cont: Python package for analytic continuation

Josef Kaufmann et al.

Summary: This article presents the Python package ana_cont, which is used for the analytic continuation of fermionic and bosonic many-body Green's functions using either the Pade approximants method or the maximum entropy method. The determination of hyperparameters and the implementation are described in detail. The code is publicly available on GitHub, where documentation and learning resources are also provided.

Explaining the pseudogap through damping and antidamping on the Fermi surface by imaginary spin scattering

Friedrich Krien et al.

Summary: We analyze the mechanism of the pseudogap observed in hole-doped cuprates using a Feynman-diagrammatic inspection of the Hubbard model. Our findings show that strong coupling and particle-hole asymmetry trigger a mechanism where the large imaginary part of the spin-fermion vertex promotes damping of antinodal fermions while protecting the nodal Fermi arcs.

SU(2) gauge theory of the pseudogap phase in the two-dimensional Hubbard model

Pietro M. Bonetti et al.

Summary: In this study, a SU(2) gauge theory of fluctuating magnetic order in the two-dimensional Hubbard model is presented, based on a fractionalization of electrons in fermionic chargons and bosonic spinons. Different magnetic order phenomena are observed for chargons below a density-dependent transition temperature T*, while spinon fluctuations prevent the formation of magnetic long-range order of the electrons at any finite temperature.

Charge and spin correlations in insulating and incoherent metal states of twisted bilayer graphene

A. A. Katanin

Summary: We study the electronic, charge, and magnetic properties of twisted bilayer graphene with specific fillings per moire unit cell. The results show the importance of spin exchange between certain lattice spots in introducing charge and spin correlations. The local spectral functions indicate a gapped state at specific fillings, while the nonlocal charge and spin susceptibilities exhibit incommensurate pattern.

Spin stiffness, spectral weight, and Landau damping of magnons in metallic spiral magnets

Pietro M. Bonetti et al.

Summary: We studied the properties of magnons in metallic electron systems with spiral magnetic order. We identified three magnon branches and derived general expressions for their spin stiffnesses and spectral weights. We also determined the magnitude of the decay rates caused by Landau damping.

Generalized dynamical mean-field theory of two-sublattice systems with long-range interactions and its application to study charge and spin correlations in graphene

A. A. Katanin

Summary: The study investigates magnetic and charge correlations in graphene using extended dynamical mean-field theory (E-DMFT) for two-sublattice systems. The method maps nonlocal interactions onto effective static interactions between different sublattices and introduces an effective retarded interaction to consider the remaining nonlocal interactions. The study demonstrates the competition of semimetal, spin density wave (SDW), and charge-density-wave (CDW) correlations in graphene.

Dynamical vertex approximation for many-electron systems with spontaneously broken SU(2) symmetry

Lorenzo Del Re et al.

Summary: This study generalized the formalism of the dynamical vertex approximation (D Gamma A) for treating magnetically ordered phases. By performing ladder resummations of Feynman diagrams in systems with broken SU(2) symmetry, the simplified algorithms and self-energy expressions for ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic ordered phases were derived, providing reliable guidance for future applications. The results captured fundamental aspects of metallic and insulating ground states in two-dimensional antiferromagnets, with possible routes outlined for further development in diagrammatic-based treatments of magnetic phases in correlated electron systems.
