Summary: This study investigates the temperature dependence of the reaction kinetics of beta-caryophyllene (BCP) with ozone and nitrate radicals and its contribution to the formation of secondary organic aerosol (SOA). The results show that temperature has a significant impact on the rate coefficient and SOA yields, as well as the formation of highly oxidized molecules and organonitrates.
