Ultrafast Decay Dynamics of 2-Hydroxypyridine Excited to S1 Electronic State

Yan-jun Min et al.

Summary: The decay dynamics of the S-1 state of 2-hydroxypyridine following UV excitation was investigated using femtosecond time-resolved photoelectron imaging technique. The experimental results showed that the decay process of the S-1 state varied with different pump wavelengths, indicating the contribution of intersystem crossing and internal conversion to the decay of the S-1 state.

Vibrational-state dependent decay dynamics of 2-pyridone excited to the S1 electronic state

Dongyuan Yang et al.

Summary: This study investigates the decay dynamics of the S-1((1)pi pi*) state of 2-pyridone using femtosecond time-resolved photoelectron imaging technique. It finds that the lifetime of the vibrational states strongly depends on the vibrational energy and mode, and observes a quantum beat between the two lowest energy vibrational states.

Ultrafast decay dynamics of N-ethylpyrrole excited to the S1 electronic state: A femtosecond time-resolved photoelectron imaging study

Wen-peng Yuan et al.

Summary: In this study, ultrafast decay dynamics of N-ethylpyrrole excited to the S-1 electronic state were investigated using a femtosecond time-resolved photoelectron imaging method. Different time constants were derived for different vibrational states, suggesting unique decay mechanisms associated with each vibrational state.
