Summary: SARS-CoV-2 has caused a global pandemic with millions of cases and deaths, and while traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has shown effectiveness in treating COVID-19, the need for international cooperation in establishing guidelines for its use in diverse populations remains. Further research on TCM's efficacy in psychological abnormalities related to COVID-19 is also necessary to provide a comprehensive understanding of its role in prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts.
