Summary: The availability of various extended reality (XR) systems provides new opportunities for analyzing users' and objects' behavior, which can be especially useful when based on domain knowledge. However, current methods and tools for building XR focus on 3D modeling and programming rather than domain-oriented analysis. A new visual approach is proposed in this paper, allowing domain experts to comprehend and analyze what happened in an XR environment regarding users' and objects' actions and interactions.

Summary: Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 are two different stages of development, with the former focusing on technological upgrades and improving intelligence, and the latter emphasizing societal needs, values, and responsibility. Digital twin and extended reality are two cutting-edge technologies that play important roles in human-machine interaction. This paper presents an extended reality application framework for manufacturing services, and describes its responsiveness test and industrial applications for a digital twin-based smart crane.

Summary: This paper discusses the implementation of digital twins in reconfigurable factories in the context of Industry 4.0. By using an AR authoring tool, operators are able to dynamically update the digital twins directly on the workstations. Experimental results confirm that it is relatively easy to deploy digital twins in factories if the positioning is done by direct manipulation with the help of an AR display device.
