Joint Task Offloading and Resource Allocation for Energy-Constrained Mobile Edge Computing

Summary: In this study, an online joint offloading and resource allocation (JORA) framework is proposed to ensure the quality of experience (QoE) of end-users under the long-term mobile edge computing (MEC) energy constraint. Lyapunov optimization is used to solve the long-term QoE maximization problem, and an energy deficit queue is constructed to guide real-time energy consumption. Extensive simulations show the superiority of our proposed methods in performance.

Load balancing and service discovery using Docker Swarm for microservice based big data applications

Results indicate that load balancing is efficiently achieved using Docker Swarm, and applications developed with containerized microservices reduce average deployment time and enable continuous integration.

VM performance-aware virtual machine migration method based on ant colony optimization in cloud environment

Identifying performance anomalies in fluctuating cloud environments: A robust correlative-GNN-based explainable approach
