Intuitionistic fuzzy power Aczel-Alsina model for prioritization of sustainable transportation sharing practices

Tapan Senapati et al.

Summary: Traffic congestion and environmental pollution caused by transportation activities pose significant threats to the sustainable development of cities. This study proposes a new strategy of shared mobility, utilizing postal operators as service providers through their extensive networks. Four sustainable transportation sharing practices are elaborated to facilitate real-world implementation. An advanced decision support model based on Aczel-Alsina aggregation operators and power operators in the intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) environment is developed to identify the most sustainable alternative. The model is illustrated through a case study of Novi Sad, recommending investment in a sharing e-bicycle fleet by the public postal operator. The comparative investigation showcases the superiority of the developed decision support model, characterized by simple calculation and fast information processing.
