Bezout-like polynomial equations associated with dual univariate interpolating subdivision schemes

Luca Gemignani et al.

Summary: The algebraic characterization of dual univariate interpolating subdivision schemes is examined in this paper. A constructive approach is presented for finding these schemes based on solving certain associated polynomial equations. The proposed approach also allows for identifying conditions for the existence of the desired schemes.
