LncRNA T376626 is a promising serum biomarker and promotes proliferation, migration, and invasion via binding to LAMC2 in triple-negative breast cancer

Yongyin He et al.

Summary: In this study, lncRNA T376626 was found to be significantly upregulated in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and related to poor prognosis in breast cancer patients. It was discovered that lncRNA T376626 may play a role in TNBC progression through binding to LAMC2. Furthermore, lncRNA T376626 has the potential to serve as a serum-based diagnostic and prognostic biomarker for TNBC.

Pan-cancer analysis on the role of PIK3R1 and PIK3R2 in human tumors

Yane Liu et al.

Summary: This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the role of PIK3R1 and PIK3R2 in various cancers. The results show that PIK3R1 is lowly expressed in most tumors while PIK3R2 is highly expressed and associated with immune infiltration levels. Mutations and dysregulation of PIK3R1 and PIK3R2 are found to be detrimental to the survival of most cancer patients.

Exploring the Potential of Exosome-Related LncRNA Pairs as Predictors for Immune Microenvironment, Survival Outcome, and Microbiotain Landscape in Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Fangchao Zhao et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates the clinical relevance and prognostic value of exosome-related lncRNAs in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Through clustering analysis, three subtypes were identified and a prognostic risk score model based on 8 ER-lncRNA pairs was developed. The risk score was found to be an independent prognostic factor and correlated with the tumor microenvironment and immune cell infiltration. Additionally, this model provides guidance for treatment selection in patients.

LAMC2 promotes cancer progression and gemcitabine resistance through modulation of EMT and ATP-binding cassette transporters in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

Yasuyuki Okada et al.

Summary: The overexpression of LAMC2 in PDAC is associated with poor survival outcomes and can potentially serve as a prognostic marker. Inhibition of LAMC2 in PDAC cells enhances gemcitabine sensitivity and promotes apoptosis. LAMC2 also affects cell migration and invasion abilities, and is correlated with the expression of EMT and ABC transporters.
