The antitumor effect of novel bionanocatalysts was evaluated in a rat model with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) using Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy in liver and lung tissues. The obtained spectra showed a significant decrease in signal intensity in tumor tissues compared to healthy tissues. An increase in signal intensity was observed in diseased rats treated with bionanocatalysts, indicating their antitumor effect in terms of reducing tumor tissue.
Given the absence of effective and selective treatments for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the antitumor effect of novel bionanocatalysts was evaluated in two different tissues (liver and lung) of a rat model with HCC using Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy. The spectra obtained showed a significant decrease in signal intensity in the presence of tumor tissues with respect to healthy tissue. An increase in signal intensity was observed in diseased rats treated with bionanocatalysts, suggesting their antitumor effect in terms of tumor tissue reduction with respect to the diseased control.
