An updated review of the new hadron states

Hua-Xing Chen et al.

Summary: The past decades have seen significant advancements in hadron physics, particularly in the observation of excited open heavy flavor mesons and baryons since 2017. This review provides updated information on the recent experimental and theoretical developments in this field, including the observation of unconventional heavy hadrons, tetraquark states, and hidden heavy flavor multiquark states. Additionally, the review covers progress in understanding glueballs and light hybrid mesons, which are manifestations of the non-Abelian SU(3) gauge interaction in Quantum Chromodynamics at low energies.

Next-to-leading-power kinematic corrections to DVCS: a scalar target

V. M. Braun et al.

Summary: Using recent results, we have derived explicit expressions for kinematic finite-t and target mass corrections to the DVCS helicity amplitudes to 1/Q(4) accuracy. The cancellation of IR divergences for kinematic corrections is shown at all orders in perturbation theory. We argue that target mass corrections in coherent DVCS from nuclei are small and do not invalidate the factorization theorem.

Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering Cross Section at High Bjorken xB

F. Georges et al.

Summary: We present high-precision measurements of the deep virtual Compton scattering (DVCS) cross section at high values of the Bjorken variable x(B). This measurement provides valuable information about the generalized parton distributions of the nucleon and allows for a three-dimensional description of its internal constituents. Our experimental extraction of all four helicity-conserving Compton form factors (CFFs) for the nucleon, as a function of x(B), demonstrates sensitivity to poorly known CFFs and showcases the high accuracy of our data.

Kinematical higher-twist corrections in γ*γ → M(M)over-bar

Cedric Lorce et al.

Summary: We estimated the kinematical higher-twist corrections to the gamma*(q(1))gamma(q(2)) -> M(p(1))(M) over bar (p(2)) amplitudes, and calculated the cross sections for gamma*gamma -> pi(0)pi(0) and gamma*gamma -> eta eta. The results show that the kinematical higher-twist corrections play an important role in the total cross section, and considering these corrections is necessary for an accurate evaluation of the meson energy-momentum tensor form factors.

Partial wave analysis of J/ψ → γηη′

M. Ablikim et al.

Summary: Based on a sample of J/psi events collected with the BESIII detector, a partial wave analysis of the decay J/psi -> gamma eta eta ' is performed. A new state with exotic quantum numbers J(P)(C)=1(-+), denoted as eta(1)(1855), is observed for the first time. The study also measures the product branching fraction and establishes an upper limit on the ratio of branching fractions for the decay of f(0)(1710).

Exotic meson π1 (1600) with JPC=1-+ and its decay into ρ(770)π

G. D. Alexeev et al.

Summary: In this study, we investigate the spin-exotic amplitude and nonresonant contributions in the single-diffractive dissociation of pions. By analyzing the equations and comparing the results with simulated data, we find significant effects of resonances and nonresonant contributions on the produced hadron system. These findings are important for understanding the properties and characteristics of spin-exotic amplitudes.

Summary: The study focuses on the three-body decays B(s) -> chi(c1)hh' with S-wave states and distribution amplitudes for mesons, calculating branching ratios and predicting differential distributions. The results show large values for certain decays, consistent with experimental data, and provide insights into the nature of the X(3872) state.
