Study of the reactions e plus e- ? K+K-,r0,r0,r0, e+ e-?K0SK?,r?,r0,r0, and e plus e-? K0SK?,r?,r+,r- at center-of-mass energies from threshold to 4.5 GeV using initial-state radiation

J. P. Lees et al.

Summary: In this study, data collected by the BABAR detector at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory were used to investigate the processes e+e- -> K+K-a.a.a, e+e- -> K.S+/-a.a, and e+e- -> K.S+/-a.a- where an energetic photon is emitted from the initial state. The mass spectra were used to measure the cross sections for the first time and analyze the contributions from intermediate states such as eta, phi, rho, K*(892), and others. The presence of J=psi and psi(2S) particles were observed in most of the final states, and their branching fractions were measured.

FCC-ee overview: new opportunities create new challenges

Alain Blondel et al.

Summary: With high luminosity, clean experimental conditions, and a wide range of energy coverage, FCC-ee offers abundant physics possibilities and has high potential for discoveries. It serves as an essential and complementary step towards a 100 TeV hadron collider, providing a uniquely powerful combined physics program. The main challenge now is to design experimental systems that can fully exploit these extraordinary opportunities.

Summary: The study introduces a novel approach for experimental High-Energy Physics data analyses, focusing on the declarative paradigm and utilizing Directed Acyclic Graph to structure the analysis process. The REANA platform supports declarative programming, allowing researchers to concentrate on problem domains without implementation details. By combining recent advancements in container technology, the declarative approach enhances the reproducibility and knowledge preservation behind particle physics data analyses.

Study of the normalized transverse momentum distribution of W bosons produced in p(p)over-bar collisions at √s=1.96 TeV

V. M. Abazov et al.

Summary: This study focuses on the normalized transverse momentum distribution of W bosons produced in p (p) over bar collisions using data from the Tevatron collider. The measured distribution is compared to QCD predictions, and a procedure is provided to compare further theoretical models to the experimental data.
