Reexamining Time From Breast Cancer Diagnosis to Primary Breast Surgery

Summary: This study examines the association between time from breast cancer diagnosis to surgery and overall survival. It found that surgery performed 9 weeks or later after diagnosis is associated with worse overall survival compared to surgery performed within 4 weeks.
