We present a method to achieve self-assembly of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) particles by evaporating a mixture of methanol and water. This approach effectively mitigates the coffee ring effect, facilitates rapid particle assembly, and enhances the orientation and optical properties of the resulting superstructures.
We report a strategy for the self-assembly of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) particles induced by the evaporation of a methanol-water mixture.
