The 15-minute city: Urban planning and design efforts toward creating sustainable neighborhoods

Developing an indicative spatial accessibility analysis tool for urban public transportation system

Summary: This study proposed a simplified and indicative methodology for spatial accessibility analysis using limited data to specify areas where Public Transportation (PT) is mostly needed. The proposed methodology combined three models to identify PT routes that were most in demand and provide route classifications based on the route importance for running PT. It outlined a crucial step for designing PT system based on easily accessible information, presenting a key PT planning tool that delineated the demanded PT despite the lack of funding and exhaustive statistical information.

The implementation of the 15-min concept aims to bring green-blue spaces closer to where people live. However, the social and spatial inequality in 15-min green-blue space accessibility in cities like Hong Kong is not well understood. This study examines walking and cycling accessibility to green-blue spaces within 15 minutes in Hong Kong to identify disadvantaged neighborhoods.

Improving the Spatial Accessibility of Community-Level Healthcare Service toward the '15-Minute City' Goal in China

Assessing job-access inequity for transit-based workers across space and race with the Palma ratio

Summary: This study examines job-access inequity between the wealthiest 10% and poorest 40% of transit-based workers in Chicago across different spaces and races.
